Laser Resurfacing
Laser resurfacing is generally used to erase fine lines that appear around the mouth and eyes. It is also appropriate for treating facial scars.
In this process, sometimes known as “laser peel”, an Erbiumlaser is used to remove wrinkled or damaged skin, taking it off one layer at a time.
Laser resurfacing can sometimes produce less bleeding, bruising and discomfort following operations, than is usually seen with other similar treatments.
The procedure uses a beam of laser energy that turns the top layers of damaged skin to vapour at highly specific and extremely controlled levels of invasiveness.
